Last Saturday, our Ambassador in Belgium, Leyda Reyes, had the pleasure of meeting Leticia Reyes, an outstanding specialist in global health within migratory contexts. With extensive experience in psychoeducation, social, community, and family pedagogy in countries like Haiti, Uganda, and Rwanda, Leticia shared enriching insights on key topics aligned with the mission of Santana Globally We Care (SGWC).
During the meeting, Leticia learned about our mission, values, and ongoing projects. The conversation led to two significant invitations:
- Panel on the Development of Women in Social Entrepreneurship: SGWC will have the opportunity to present as an organization, showcasing our initiatives to empower and support women in vulnerable situations.
- Panel on Gender Roles and Human Dignity: This platform will allow us to anonymously share the stories of women who have found support and transformed their lives through SGWC.
Additionally, we invited Leticia to participate in two key events: our International Charity Gala in May and The Women’s Social Club event in September, to be held in Belgium.
Leyda described the meeting as a deeply enriching experience, marked by the exchange of ideas and a shared commitment to equity and empowerment.
A Promising Future for Collaboration
This meeting underscores our commitment to building global support networks and strengthening alliances with professionals and organizations that share our vision. We are excited to continue collaborating with individuals like Leticia Reyes, whose expertise and insights bring immense value to our mission.
We look forward to what the future holds and are grateful for this meaningful connection!
